Sustainability Week 2026: Make It Last
12–16 October 2026 | University of Twente campus
How can taking care of what we already have lead to lasting change? During Sustainability Week, Green Hub Twente focuses on resource preservation: repairing, reusing, cutting food waste and saving energy. All week there is a Thrift Shop Market, plus a programme with bike repair, a Repair Café and sewing workshop, jewellery, fermentation and plant-cutting workshops, a sustainability walk, a pub quiz and an art competition.
Who is it for? The week is designed especially for UT students, but the entire UT community is welcome, as are external visitors.
Highlight: Student Sustainability Research Conference – 15 October, Connect-U
UT hosts its first Student Sustainability Research Conference (SSRC). Students from UT, Saxion and ROC van Twente present their sustainability research through talks, posters, workshops and creative formats. The day includes a keynote, a poster exhibition, a networking lunch and an award ceremony for the best submission. Want to present your work? Submit your topic or poster by 30 September.
