Ballroom, salsa and bachata
D.S.V. 4 happy feet is the student dancing association for ballroom, salsa and bachata! Come and try out an open lesson if you are interested in any form of paired dancing. Whether it’s the more technical ballroom, like the beautiful Victorian waltzes or the energetic jive from the 50s, the playful salsa, danced in Latin America, Spain and Portugal, or the sensual and slower Bachata: we have something to offer you!
On Mondays we offer salsa and bachata lessons and on Tuesdays we offer ballroom lessons. We currently only offer a beginner level for the bachata classes, 3 different levels of salsa ranging from beginners to advanced. For ballroom we offer 4 different levels: an English beginner class and 3 Dutch higher level classes. We also offer an additional ballroom technique hour where not only dances and steps are taught but also a bit more background and styling.
In case any (or more ;) ) of these dances sound appealing to you we offer open lessons in the first 3 weeks of the academic year:
- For salsa (beginners) this is on Monday 31 Augustus, 7 and 14 September from 18.00 - 19.00
- For bachata this is on Monday 31 Augustus, 7 and 14 September from 19.00 - 20.00
- For ballroom (beginners) this is on Tuesday 1, 8 and 15 September from 18.00 - 19.00
