Tim Knol and the award-winning Blue Grass Boogiemen are back in the theatre with Tim Knol & Blue Grass Boogiemen Ride Again! Their previous, successful programme Lost & Found III tasted like more. The five friends challenge each other with their virtuoso string playing; fun splashes off the stage. A new joint album, the follow-up to their acclaimed record Happy Hour, will also be released for this theatre tour.
The musicians dig further into the rich history of bluegrass and country music. They have a fine nose for the ragged edges of performers like Townes Van Zandt, The Stanley Brothers and Flatt and Scruggs. In Tim Knol & Blue Grass Boogiemen Ride Again, they play songs from their new album and the music of their heroes, interspersed with anecdotes about them.
