Graphic designer
What does the job entail?
As a graphic designer, together with the other designers, you are responsible for a professional appearance of promotional expressions of the Student Union. You will be part of the communication team, which means that you will be closely involved in promotional campaigns and communication strategies. Besides the SU expressions that you design, you also design promotional materials for committees, events and bodies that fall under the SU, such as the UnionDeals or Student Union Afternoon Sessions. This could be a flyer or a banner, but also a complete corporate identity!
Job requirements
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Flexibly available
- Communication skills in English and Dutch
- Hands-on mentality
- Ability to listen well to the wishes of committees, employees and administrators and translate these into a design within a corporate identity.
- Ability to work in a structured way with tight deadlines
- Available for at least one year
- You are proficient in Adobe software (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or have demonstrable basic knowledge to get started with it.
Where will you be based?
You will work closely with the Communications portfolio holder, but together with the communications team you will support the entire SU community. You will work in a close team, where your ideas are seriously listened to (both inside and outside your job), but where fun is just as important. We expect you to be available for at least a year from appointment onwards.
