Dot painting

Dot painting is the traditional drawing and paintings technique of the Australian aborigens. The name says it all, dot painting is a painting technique in which you paint with drops of paint (dots).

Instead of applying paint to a surface with brush strokes, dip a stick in the paint and then gently place the drop of paint on the surface.You do not need any painting experience to follow a painting course.

It has a relaxing and almost meditative effect, it makes you very ZEN. In this cours of 5 lessons you will learn about the origin, materials, techniques and various designs and you will end up with your own unique gift for yourself or someone else. You can use paper, painter’s cardboard, canvas, wood, stone or porcelain. You can bring your own object.

This course is given by Manisha, an experienced henna & dot painting artist & workshop provider from Al Hayat Events from Enschede.

This course is only for employees and students with a valid Union-/Campuscard.
