HET DIEKMAN SWIMMING POOL

Het Diekman is Enschede’s new swimming pool. Since opening in July 2026, it has taken over the role previously held by Aquadrome and Het Slagman. As such, Het Diekman serves as Enschede’s central swimming facility, bringing together recreation, swimming lessons, and competitive swimming.

The complex features both indoor and outdoor pools and offers facilities for visitors of all ages. Indoor amenities include a 25-meter sports pool with an interactive floor, a ceiling-mounted waterfall, and a slide (including a children's slide). There is also an instruction pool where activities such as swimming lessons, aqua sports, and sessions tailored to specific groups take place.

There is also plenty of space outdoors for swimming and relaxation. The outdoor area features a 25-meter pool, a separate children's pool with a splash park, and a spacious sunbathing lawn, making it a popular destination for recreational swimming during the summer months.
