Invitation Alumni Talks: Student Lunch Lectures!

How do you achieve your dream? A dream that shapes a development in the future? On Friday, October 4, two prominent alumni will be on campus during the lunch break to share their personal stories with you.

Merel Boers – Technical Medicine / PhD: How do you tackle a huge health problem with AI and develop a successful and useful product? Technical Medicine UT alumna Merel Boers has achieved this with StrokeViewer, powered by Nicolab.

Maurice te Plate – Applied Physics: From Twente to the beginning of a whole new chapter in astronomy with the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), a large, infrared-optimized space telescope designed to find the first galaxies that formed in the early Universe. Maurice was seconded to NASA from the European Space Agency (ESA) for the JWST project. As System Integration & Test Manager.

Merel and Maurice will be on campus on Friday, October 4, during the lunch break to tell their story. And you can attend that lunch session!
