Look after your friend trainings

Do you want to do more for your own and your friends’ wellbeing? Then attend the free ‘Look after your friend’-training!

Why?

Your time as a student can be a lot of fun but it can also be difficult sometimes. A lot of students who experience problems regarding their wellbeing, such as stress, depression or anxiety, first turn to their friends to talk about it before talking to anyone else. Of course, you also want to be there for your friends and this might be difficult sometimes. A situation might raise certain questions, such as:

To help students in answering these questions, a training has been set up by the psychologists of the UT, in collaboration with the SU.

 What?

The training consists of 2 sessions of both 2 hours, which are complementing and can therefore not be followed separately. During these two sessions, the following topics will be discussed:

Furthermore, participants will receive an extensive guide with information and tips on how to look after their friends and themselves. Of course, the training is comletely free for students of the UT.

Do you want to know more about the training? Check out our Canvas page, containing more information. Enrolling for this page is without obligation, so feel free to check it out!

As soon as a date is set, you can let your members know and they can sign up for the training. A maximum of 15 people can join the training and one person should attend both trainings (you cannot attend only one of them). To be able to give the training to as many people as possible, we expect a minimum amount of 10 attendees. The training is free of charge. Hopefully, we will hear from you soon and we can plan a training together to improve the wellbeing of your members!
