In the area of mental health, we, the Student Union, are committed to supporting students and student boards in maintaining a healthy and safe environment. As a student, your mental health is important. Support lines are available for you if you or someone close to you is struggling. Therefore, we are taking action to make mental health a natural part of students' daily lives by:

Look after your friend training

Do you want to do more for your own and your friends’ well-being? Attend the ‘Look after your friend’-training and learn valuable tips and tricks!

Well-being weeks

During the Well-being Weeks, everything revolves around mental health, relaxation, and connection. Think workshops, sports activities, and inspiring sessions to reduce stress and build resilience. These take place twice a year, in spring and fall.

Training voor vertrouwenscontactpersonenen

Equip your confidential counselors (CCPs) with the right knowledge and skills to support members with inappropriate behavior and personal concerns. This free, two-part training offers practical tools for listening, confidentiality, and referrals. It includes peer supervision sessions for ongoing development.

Are you worried about someone or not feeling quite right yourself? At Alles Oké? (All Okay?), you can talk anonymously and for free with someone who will listen. Available day and night via chat or phone. Together, we'll make sure you're not alone.

Need help or have questions about your well-being? At Student Guidance & Well-being (SG&W), you'll find free and confidential support. From study advice to mental health, they're here to listen and help. Get in touch—you're not alone.

Tip: Hang a printed copy of the overview in the student association room. This way, students can easily find it, and the board has direct access if they have any questions.
