Student Union Lustrum

The Student Union is celebrating its Lustrum!

On October 18, 2024, the Student Union wants to celebrate its lustrum with all the associations at the UT and the UT community. For 25 years, the SU has been doing everything it can to encourage students to get more than a degree. To get students actively involved in associations, to do a board year, or to engage in personal development in other forms. This will also be celebrated at the lustrum.

On October 18, there will be a program with various activities in which all students can participate. It starts with a soapbox race where associations, fraternities, and groups of friends can compete against each other. This will be followed by the annual More Than A Degree Awards with a lustrum twist. Finally, we will conclude with a party in the city. We hope to see every UT student there!

Soap box race

Soapbox RaceDuring the soapbox race, teams of at least 2 people will compete against other teams. The idea is that you build your own soapbox, a homemade vehicle without a motor, and then navigate a course on campus. There are prizes for the soapbox that completes the course the fastest, but also for the most beautiful soapbox! So, compete against your fellow students and sign up via the forms!

Do you have no idea how to build such a soapbox or do you not have the materials available? Then come to the soapbox building event during the lunchbreak of September 25th. There will be materials and people available to help you.

More than A Degree Awards

Lustrum Party

The lustrum party will take place in the Pakkerij! It is an open party, so feel free to come in. No ticket is needed, but do bring your student ID to show that you are a UT student.
